Where did summer go?

Fuck! It is so cold in Norway these days! What happened to summer? Next week will be my last week at the cathedral, and it can be that I am going back to the hotel just to work there until I find some other job. I need some money before Jonny and I go to Barcelona, it is always best to work a little bit extra and count on more cash, specially when on holidays!

Summer visit

My friend Diana got visit from Colombia. Her mum and her cousin Julie came to town for the first time and I got the chance to say hello and go for a walk with them for some weeks ago. We - of course - did the mandatory stop at my workplace, the beautiful cathedral of Nidaros. Here's the pics!

We got an appartment!!

Finally after looking so much we got to see an apartment we loved! And the owner liked us as well, so we get to move in this weekend! I am soooo excited! :-) We are moving to the area of Ilsvika (15-20 min walk to the centre), but we love it! And through the garage we have direct access to the food store, so we don't even have to walk out in the street! Jonny's parents are coming to town on saturday to help us with the moving out, so we hope it'll be done quickly! I'll post some pictures of the place just when we are installed there, since there are no available pictures on the internet. WHOOOAAAA!!!! :D

Desperate people

Today at 1 pm I put an advertisement on the internet to rent my apartment out. It has only been 6 hours and I got 31 e-mails and 14 misscalls. It's insanity!

Sex and the City 2

So, the news have been circulating for a long while now, but I just felt I wanted to talk a bit about the sequel to the already existing Sex and the City movie. The filming is going to begin in the late summer and the movie is due next year. Mark your calendars ladies, the new movie is hitting the theatres on the 28th May 2010. So far few details are known, amongst others, the wardrobe of the girls will not be affected by the finantial crisis, which is a good sign because we all know the clothes and shoes are a huge part of the success of the SATC phenomena. We also know that a certain celebrity more known for her husband and her expensive lifestyle than for her singing career - yes, we are talking about you Victoria Beckham - has expressed her interest in a small role in the new movie. So far, she is said to be taking acting classes, but with her sense for fashion and stylism I think she should get a role!

So what do you think is going to happen in the second movie? After the first one we finally got Carrie and Mr.Big married, Charlotte and Harry with two baby girls, Miranda forgives Steve's and they go back together, and Samantha is back to the single market. I think Samantha is - once again - going to steal Carrie's spotlight because let's face it: she is the funniest to watch! Are you excited about a new Sex and the City movie?

A week in Trysil

Hello! I'm back from five days in Trysil with Jonny and his family. I had a really nice time and the weather was better than I thought. This week has gone by so fast! We had lovely dinners outside in the terrace, we've been to Sweden, taken a tour around the lake with the boat, learned some golf, have been fishing and drinking wine by the lake next to a campfire. Indeed very cosy! Here's - of course - some pics of the journey!

Bye bye Priscilla!

Today Doribeth picked up her princess again, so Priscilla is back to her place and I am all by myself again. Thanks Dori and Christian for the gifts! They got me a white Guess wallet, a pink glossy from Clinique and chocolates! Thank you, so sweet of you!

I must say I was very surprised by that puppy, I thought she would be annoying to look after, but she wasn't! She was very obedient the whole time and never did her pee or poo in the house. So now I am a bit lonely... but not for long! On tuesday I am going to Trysil to my in-laws and I am seeing my Jonny again!! Woohoo! Looking forward to it! I miss him!

Planning the future

I have quite a few apartments right now and so far I have only liked one of them, but it has unfortunately been sold out to another lucky couple of asslickers. Tomorrow I am going to visit two more apartments and if we are not lucky I have schedueld a visit to another apartment for next monday in the hopes that we should find our lovenest soon!

I have been working a lot lately. This week I only have tomorrow free and they asked me to please take a tour four a group of Spanish people. Because I haven't done a visit in the church in Spanish yet, I said yes. So I am going to work for only 45 minutes, and then I have some stuff to take care of - amongst others, the visits to the apartments.

In addition, Priscilla is still staying with me a bit longer. The last thing I heard she will be picked up on saturday, not on thursday. So I will have her company for a couple more days than originally planned.

And my Jonny is in Trysil... I miss him! I am not too used to be separated from him for so many days since we met 6 months ago. On friday it is our half a year anniversary. I hope we might be able to celebrate that when I go to Trysil. I am taking a little trip down there on tuesday and I'll be staying for 5 days. I'm really looking forward to it!

The weather right now is absolutely shitty. It went from being extremely warm to being frisky and rainy. I hate that it rains in the summertime! But I don't have that much time to sunbath right now either, so...

Discoveries

Right now I have been taking Priscilla for a walk around where I live. Normally we go to Hesteparken (a public park) because there's a lot of grass and she can run free, but today I decided to take the opposite direction because I never have walked towards that way. And what did I find out? Just five minutes from my house there's a huge graveyard with a big church. The cementery is named Tilfredshet Kirkegård and it is HUGE, there's more than 16,000 people buried there. It is even bigger that the one in Lade. I can't believe I have lived in my place for almost two years and I have never heard or seen about that enormous cementery located just 5 minutes away! I was just a bit amazed by having such a place so close and having no idea about it!

More Priscilla fun

This dog is just too cute for words! We've been in the park where she can run free and make her defecations! I am not afraid to release her from the rope because she is very obedient and comes at once! The only problem is when she makes poo.... her tail and hair are so long that the poo gets stuck on them! So everytime she makes poo-poo I have to shower her! I have thought about using two clips to pick her tail up but the hair on her legs... I don't know what to do in that area. Besides that, everything is fine! If someone can offer me a solution for this little issue... I don't think it's good for her that I shower her so often!

My first days with Priscilla

These are my first days with Priscilla and it is been better than I thought. The first time I met her about a year ago didn't turn out so well. She was scared of me and jumped off the stairs almost hurting herself. But now that she knows me it is way better to be with her! And believe me, she is so smart! She knows how to communicate with me and I always know when she wants out, when she wants to play and when she needs some affection! When I take her for walks she follows my rythm and doesn't pull from the rope and when I call her name she comes at once! So she is quite obedient, too! The only problem is when my neighbour makes noise and then she barks at her. She does that all the time! Then I just tell her "hysj!" and she shuts up.... until next time someone makes noise that is!

Priscilla is very obedient and knows how to fetch her teddy bear when you throw it!

New inquiline at home!

Please meet my new inquiline, the little lovely Priscilla. She is my friend Doribeth's puppy and because Doribeth is on holidays in Cyprus, Priscilla has been staying one week with Diana and this next week with me. So far she has been nice, barking a little bit, but well... she behaves! Her tongue and my mouth have also been intimate so far (she likes to lick on the face) and my room and the garden outside seem to be of her approval. We'll see how the week turns to be!
