Sushi day

Helloooo!

Missed me? Today I've been delievering a couple of CVs at the "Work Fair". I applied for a job in the reception of Britannia Hotel and SAS Radisson Blu Royal Garden. I don't know if they are even going to call me, but at least I got to present myself in person. That way they can hear that I can speak Norwegian and I am not one of those foreigners that comes to Norway and after 15 years doesn't learn the language. I did my hair, a french manicure and wore my Bershka dress. The french manicure was a lame attempt though. It's to hard to paint the white stripe with the left hand!

Me trying to look professional but effortless, even though it was raining outside

After we we're done, Jonny and I went to eat Sushi at Kos Bar & Lounge. I'm sorry world, but I'm still no big fan of sushi! We still don't get what's the big deal. It's eatable yes, but it's only rice and fish and to be honest the fish is pretty tasteless. The only one I liked was the sashimi and the sushi with tuna fish and avocado. What spoils it all is the wasabi and the ginger. If my sushi has been in touch with any of those I consider it ruined. Naaah, I think I'll stick to cooked food. Less raw fish and more beef steak thank you!

The sushi we ate

After the sushi I went to Solsiden to meet up with Diana and Doribeth with my mouth still tasting like a dirty fishtank. We sat down at Graffi and I thought I'd wash away the sushi taste with a strawberry milkshake. Bad choice. The milkshake was way too sweet and they had put sirup in it, which was all gathered at the bottom of the glass. Yikes!

Not being too lucky in the food department today, Dori drove me back home and she forgot she was driving to my place and took the road towards her place instead. So we had to turn around. Easier said than done! The roads are very icy so it was not an easy task! We drove up a very tiny street, turned around and on the way down the car was going on its own, even though Dori was hitting the break. In the end, we made it alive! :-)
Now I'm enjoying a good cup of coffee and I am soon joining Jonny on the couch. We want to watch this new tv-show called "Bingogjengjen", which is a prank show just that the pranksters are elderly people! It's hillarious because nobody expects elderly to behave like this!
Well, talk to you soon! And keep updating your blogs, people! Once a month is way too little! ;-)
