Weekend plans
Gooood and sunny morning! Did you watch the royal wedding yesterday? I followed while being at work. That bride... so beautiful! And what a gorgeous dress!
Well, yesterday I met the girls at Brukbar for Christian's concert opening. Everything was going smooth in the beginning. We ordered drinks, sat down at the pub and waited until it'd be 11pm and the concert would start. By the time it was midnight, there was no trace of Christian or his two collaborators at all. So we decided to wait a bit longer and kept on drinking. By the way, I was ordering vodka with cola at the bar when I realized the waitres was former Norway's Next Top Model, Frøydis Elvenes. She was the first Top Model winner and she blushed when I recognized her. She looks a tad different (and less tall) in real life!
About 12:30, to our big surprise, Christian shows up with no microphone, no band and holding a beer glass. Turns out there was not going to be a concert because they were three performers and only one microphone was working! Unable to fix this technical problem, the opening act was suspended and a man from the UK - the main artist - was the only one able to perform for the night. So we all left home by 1am.
I am not sure what the plans for tonight are. At least it looks like a nice sunny day. What are you doing tonight?

These were also bought yesteday at Bik Bok. I love the beige nailpolisher! It's so natural and flattering, take a look! Don't look at my cuticules though, they are still healing from that awful manicure I got in Alanya.
What do you think about the earrings? I've been looking for some like these for a long time, they are gorgeous and look good on everybody. They look so good on tanned skin in the summer!
This blue ring is a turquoise I bought in Alanya. Greece and Turkey are big turquoise exporters. Actually the name turquoise has derived from the French work turques because it was first brought to Europe from Turkey from the mines in Persia. I already have to turquoise rings, they are a very flattering complement for the summer. Fresh and nature-inspired. And if you look closely I am wearing blue eyelash mascara. It's from a brand called No 7 in a zaphire shade.
Did you watch the match yesterday? It was intense! And the wining of Mourinho? That man needs to know when to shut up. You lost period. Bah, I'm not going to waste more time on this excuse for a person, but R.Madrid kan kiss the Champions goodbye!
Well, now I'm going to change the bedsheets and make myself ready for work. Jonny is coming back home tonight! See you!

Beautiful summer
At least it feels like it is summer! The sun is shinning and it's warm outside. Today I had a really nice and smooth day at work. All the guests where happy and you can feel it in the air that the good weather makes people smile more and me more friendly.
Today I bought this lavanda-colored top at Bik Bok and the bracelets and the light pink earrings. Do you like it? I really think lavanda is going to be my star color this summer. I love it!
Top: Bik Bok
Accessories: Bik Bok
Eye shadow: Shiseido H9 Glistening Sand
Lips: Max Factor Valentine Rose
Later tonight I'm going to watch the football game. Are you going to watch it? (And eventually don't read the newspapers tomorrow to avoid hearing Mourinho complain about the referee or injustice and be the winy schoolgirl he really is?). I am! See ya!

Back to real life
Today was my first day back at work after the holidays. It was a long day. I woke up early. See, lately I sleep less hours than before. I just wake up and can't sleep anymore. Jonny says it's probably because of the sun. It's easier to sleep in the winter when it's cold and dark outside. Taling about Jonny, he's coming back on thursday! Can't wait! I've missed him so much!
So, as I was saying, I stood up around 10 am and fixed my hair, put some make-up on and eat before going to work. I always wake up with the exact time to get dressed and put on make-up so it was really nice to grab a bite before leaving. I made myself a big bowl of salad and even had dessert. Yes.. I finally found donuts in the store downstairs! I had to indulge myself... I love donuts! How come everytime I say "I love donuts" I imagine a big fat German girl? "Ich heiβe Helga! Ich liebe Donuts!!!".... Oh well.
I had some coffee in my big Starbucks mug I bought in Turkey and ate donuts. Oh là là, c'est la vie! If we don't count the salad, this is the closest thing to a Spanish breakfast I've had in a long time! (= Sugar-based and a calory bomb!). No wonder I was two sizes bigger when I lived in Barcelona!

After my meal - which felt wonderful - I got dressed and added an extra touch with this colorful silk scarf that I got in my Easter egg from Doribeth. It's GUESS! I love it! The day at work was quiet and a bit boring. I can't wait until I get the "Sex and the City" prequel books I ordered. They are still not here. So now I'm home, blogging and eating nuddles. They are easy to make and easier to eat! I am going to go to bed in a while and back to work again tomorrow.
Good night everyone!
