Feeling the Christmas spirit

This year I am learning so much about Christmas traditions! I have made Christmas bread (sweet bread with raisins) that you can see in the two following pictures:

Both are the same thing just that I only had one bread mold... so I had to make smaller "breads". they were yummy! And I have finally finished the second Father Christmas! What do you think? Cute, huh? :-P

I got the Sony Ericsson Jalou!!

Today Jonny and I celebrate 11 months! And since I am travelling to Barcelona on monday we have decided that our anniversary is the perfect day to exchange Christmas presents as well. So Jonny got the black Wii (limited edition) from me, and I got the Sony Ericsson Jalou from him! I love this phone! As you see it is really small, the screen functions as a mirror and it was the latest technology (even video phone call... cool!). I am super happy!!!!!

Check the size in comparion to my old Motorola v3 RAZR:

Do you love it as much as I do?

Happy anniversary, babe!! I LOVE YOU!!

Wool Father Christmas

I have been feeling creative lately, so I went to the hobby shop and bought all the material I need for making a Father Christmas with wool! Here's the steps!

The materials: isopor cones and balls (for the body and the head), lambwool, glue, cotton for the beard, needles and the Christmas hat.

Here I was done with the head!

Here's the technique: you wrap the wool around the isopor and use the needle to set the material inside the isopor so it sticks properly

The body is almost finished!

And this is the final result!

Do you like it?

Christmas evening at work!

We at work already feel in deep Christmas mood so we spent the whole evening enjoying Christmas the Norwegian way. Because I've never seen people that take Christmas so seriously as Norwegians! They do KNOW Christmas. So I learnt how to make Christmas decorations and we enjoyed Christmas music, food and beverages!

Camilla was nice enough to get us presents! A lovely Christmas hat an apron!

These are the Christmas decorations I made out of wool and a plastic ball. In order for the wool to stick firmly we used a needle and pinched the wool inside the plastic ball. We also got the shape of a heart! And I even made a Norwegian-customized one!

Amongst other, we also took the time to decorate the hotel!

And Maria even baked these lovely peppercakes!
