It'd be a hell of a better one without this headache. Yes, yesterday it was partytime! We had vorspiel at Jonny's bestfriend and then we went to the city and drank beer. I drank the Absolutt Pears with Sprite. And I felt in a really good mood! And you know what? This year I AM GONNA BE A RUSS!!!! Hahaha! You read right!
Frank is getting his highschool degree so he is going to be Russ this year, and since this is something SOOOO NORWEGIAN, and I studied highschool in Spain, I always felt a bit sorry I was never going to experience the Russetid. So through Frank's account I ordered my very own Russpants, Russhat and Russjersey! The red ones of course! :-)
I've explained what Russ is before, but for those of you who don't know. Here in Norway when students are done with highschool they have a half a month period called Russetid, when they are Russ. They dress in some funny pants, with a hat (like the one in the picture) and they spend those days hanging out with their friends, getting drunk and making tests (similar to those of when you play "Truth or Dare"). Like f.ex. make out with someone from the same gender, drink 5 beers in 5 minutes, bike in your underwear, read a porn magazine out loud, etc!
It is this kind of experience that pretty much every Norwegian has been through, so why not me? I know I am 25 years old and I am not a student. I graduated from highschool when I was 18! Still, will I ever have the chance to do this? Probably not.... so why shouldn't I try? I'm gonna be a fake Russ, but have all the fun!
