Getting ready

Soon (in about 8 months hehe) my dear friend Vero is getting married in Sevilla and I have the honour of being one of her bridesmaids - there's a first time for everything! -. So I have my red dress, the shoes, the purse, and now I am hunting the jewelry! I though about some nice diamond bracelet and matching earrings. We'll see...
I have to start looking for the plane tickets as soon as they become available and fix a place to overnight, since I haven't made any reservations yet.
I look forward to going to the wedding, which I think is gonna be very special. I have been to many weddings before and - except for my two aunt's weddings - I cannot say I have been assisting to a wedding that I give shit about (and to my aunts' weddings I was just a small kid). So it's gonna be nice to go to a wedding that is meaningful for a change! :-)

My favourite song

I made a collage for the song, I love love love it!! Enjoy!

My trainning plan

I have just bought this lovely red static bike in my plan to improve my resistance and physical condition while watching TV. Yes, indeed it is possible to work your body while working on your personal entertainment. Beauty meets science! :-) Hehe.
The objective, as I said, is improving my physical condition (aka resistance) so next time I have to run I do not feel the need to pick up my tongue from the ground.
I'm going to get it at home I guess in 3 or 4 days and I am totally looking forward to it! Do you guys like it?

Back to work

And so are the holidays over. Tomorrow I am going back to work and I must confess I am a bit happy to do so. It can get quite boring to have so much free time and money is always a good thing, so I look forward to keep busy.

By the way, today I had an amazingly disgusting experience. I was lying in bed watching a movie when I heard a noise outside my window. So I got up to go see what it was and I saw that nasty huge grey RAT outside my window!! ARRGHH!! It was the GROSSNESS!! Trying to figure out a protection plan... maybe I should buy myself a nett to put outside the window? I don't know... but I cannot let that horrible nature's aberration come inside my bedroom or I'll die!

What Happens In Vegas

Highly recommendable movie for those of you who like a refreshing romantic comedy and have a good laugh. With Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz.
I have seen it - and though quite predictable - it was pretty good, too. Lots of humour and bickering!

My new friend: meet my Shisha

During my stay in Crete I fell in love with this blue shisha (also known as waterpipe) and decided to take it home with me! It wasn't particularly hard because it is a pretty small one, and I didn't declare it in customs (I do believe it is not legal to have in Norway)... but who cares Teddy Bears!!

I also bought smoking coal and apple tobacco. I have already tried it and it works fine. It doesn't come too much smoke out of it because, as I said, it is a rather small waterpipe, but it is fine enough! Love it!

I have been accepted at the university!

YES!!! I am very excited to communicate that I have been accepted at NTNU Dragvoll for the Norwegian History one-year programme! :-)
From now on not only I will get a better knowledge of the Norwegian history and culture, but I will also improve my Norwegian (because the programme is not in English), I will benefit from student discounts, make new friends, enter the university's gym, and study in one of the biggest campus of the country!
I am happy, happy, HAPPY!!!

Holidays in Crete

Hi everyone!
I am back from my holidays in Rethymno (Greece) and happy to be back must I say! I always sort of knew Greece is not the master headquarter of technology, but I have to confess that -at least- Crete was way more undeveloped than I had expected. People live in really small houses with donkeys, chicken, goats and other farm animals in the garden. The poorest population live in small houses with maybe only 2 rooms (bedroom-livingroom and toilet). I was a bit shocked but I guess the world is not a bed of roses.

Anyway! The 35-40 degrees down there were killing us (not to mention the way Greeks drive.... insane!), but we loved the swimming-pool and the food! Moussaka and Greek Salad (with Feta cheese and tzatziki)... yummy!

So here's a picture of me sitting in the Fortezza of Rethymno (a fortress built by the Cretans in 1573 in order to protect themselves from outter invasions). Behind me there must be at least 30 meters towards the sea. Here must I say the fortress sucks... not because it is ugly, but because the Turks managed to enter it in less than 24 hours! How sad is that? That's maybe why Cretans (who were originally blond and blue-eyed - think about queen Sophia of Spain) really mislike Turks, despite the fact that most of the Cretans today are half Greek, half Turk (or they very much look like Turks).

Good to be back home! :)

Sex and the City - The Movie

I am finally downloading the Sex and the City movie to my PC and I am going to treat myself with a good ice-cream and movie session tonight!
I still have free from from the rest of the week and I am doing some cleaning and reforming at home.
Also! In 2 days I will finally know weather I have been accepted in NTNU Dragvoll for the Norwegian History programme! Wish me good luck! :)
