Virtual makeover, anyone?

I have recently discovered a very good website where you can get a virtual makeover. It's called Taaz and registering only takes you 30 seconds! You have a huge variety of looks and you can steal the hair of many celebrities too!

I do not know the girl I stole the hair from

Just purchased!

Huuuuuuhhh!! I just purchased these fantastic half-fingered leather gloves from the official Patricia Field website. For those of you whose bells don't ring when hearing that name, Patricia Field is the main stylist of the show "Sex and the City". Can't wait to get them!

Old memories....

Somehow Jonny and I started to remember old computer games when he started to play an old game on his Play Station 3. Then I remembered my cousin Núria's first computer and the first computer I ever played with: an Amstrad CPC 464 with green screen. So many memories of that old computer that seemed to sophisticated to me at the time. It was launched in 1984 and the games were cassettes - like the old music cassettes - that needed around 20 minutes loading before you could actually play.

This is "Oh Mummy" a game where you had to complete a circuit in a labyrinth without getting caught by the mummy
Trivial Pursuit double cassette, I loved this game!
I also remembered a game where two vikings - I think the names were Olga and Olaf - had to find the way out of a labyrinth as well as some tools on the way towards the exit. What I can't remember is the name of the game. I tried searching on Google and YouTube but nothing... so if anyone remembers, or knows someone who had an Amstrad computer... Please, give me the name of that game! I'd love to find a flash version of it and play again!

Ahhh...home sweet home!! Just that not really our home!

Turns out that our plane from Barcelona took off 15 minutes late and we arrived late in Oslo. In addition, our luggage was delayed and when we finally picked it up from the conveyor belt and went outside the airport in order to take the bus, we just saw it leave in front of our eyes! So yes, we missed the bus back home to Trondheim. So we're not at our home. Instead, we are at my in-laws home in Trysil. So it looks like our holiday is going to be a couple of days longer. Anyway, I am not exactly sure about when we're coming back to Trondheim. I'm guessing Monday. Have a nice weekend!

Weekend in Montjuïc and Cardona

On friday we went to the Magic Fountains of Montjuïc - a show with water, lights and music - that takes place in the weekend summer nights in the city. It was very cosy and also very crowded but it was worth it.

And yesterday we drove with my family to Cardona's castle - the biggest and most powerful medieval castle in Catalonia. And then we visited La Llosa del Cavall, which is incredible. It is a dam and it is so high that the views are amazing. It was scary.... (snif, snif). No, just kidding! But it's kind of disturbing and it makes you feel like you want to hold yourself a little bit away from the border.

Well, we are coming back to Norway on friday, I'll keep you updated!

Visit to Montserrat

Today we have been in Montserrat - this holly mountain located not so far from my hometown. On top of the mountain there's a monastery which shelters a black virgin. There's a lot of richnesses, gold and silver in the monastery - and of course some amazing views. The mountain though is mostly known for its unique shape. Highly recommendable to visit!

We are loving Barcelona!

Sorry I have not been updating too much but we are kind of busy lately! We've been in the city a couple of times and this weekend we visited the Torres vinyards, had a tour and some wine tasting and yesterday we met my uncles and my grandma in Sitges, a lovely town by the sea which is a paradise of the gay population! The truth is the town is lovely and therefore no wonder that everybody likes it!

Barcelona!

I unfortunately cannot post any pictures of those we've taken because I forgot to bring the cable to transfer pics from the camera to the PC, but I'll post some when we're back. Just posting to say that everything is lovely, we are having a good time and we're enjoying ourselves. We arrived on monday morning and on tuesday we went to the city. We visited La Rambla, Maremagnum and we went to the Imax theatre to watch a movie in 3D. Yesterday we visited Park Güell - which we love - and went shopping in town afterwards (we bought some DVDs and had a refreshing glass of sangria at La Oveja Negra). Today we are just relaxing at my parents and tomorrow we will visit a famous wine cellar and do some wine degustation afterwards. We'll also have dinner at my friend Bea's new apartment and play Wii. I'll keep you updated!
