Gothic Show - The Video!

Finally!!! Here it is! The video from the Gothic Show "Hårmesse Julecupen 2008". I have had to cut it up to the part where me and my mates runned the catwalk because the whole show lasted for an hour... Our appereance though lasts only for 10 minutes or so... Only to think about the long hours (7 fucking long hours) it took us to get all dressed up for just 10 minutes on stage.... Anyway!! Enjoy!!

Pepperkakehus!

There is a pepperkakehus auction in a shopping mall in Trondheim. The houses, which are made of "peppercakes" are submitted by different Trondheim's primary schools and the money raised will be given to the fight against cancer. Here are some examples of the peppercake houses.

This is a replica of Lerkendal Stadion - Rosenborg's football stadium.

New kitchen cabinets!

Today Santa Claus - aka Harald the janitor - brought us some new kitchen cabinets. More space for storage is always good news, but call me suspicious I do believe this "gentleness" will come reflected in the houserent next month. You see, last month we got an "informative" letter where the house owners talked about some new law that can lead to the increase of the houserent in 2009. In other words, I do not believe in the mere informational purpose of the letter and I do believe this is just a warning for what's going to happen: the houserent will increase after Christmas. But well, let's hope the increase will be minimal. In the meantime I have washed and placed our stuff in our new kitchen cabinets. Merry Christmas!

My favourite Christmas gift

What toy or gift did you like best as a child? Call me sissy, but every year I used to get a Barbie doll and I loved to dress her up and do her hair. Barbie is by the way the best sold doll in history and next year will celebrate her 50th anniversary! During the history of Barbie there has been some controversy, amongst others, by the proportions of the doll.. or might we say the UNproportions. Her waist was extremely thin in relation to the rest of the body. However, the new more improved Barbie has experienced a wider waist and more normal female proportions as well as a renewal of her wardrobe, which was very classical and princess-like. Maybe that's what made Barbie such a special doll though. I admit I used to like her old clothes better, because those were clothes nobody had in their closets! The new Barbie is just way too ordinary... but yeah, sellings come first and if little girls this generation prefer a more modern Barbie that's what they should get.

What about you? What was your favourite childhood toy?

Lolita Lempicka

Just the other day I got a sample of one of Lolita Lempicka's perfumes, Fleur Défendue (Forbidden Flower). I really love the smell of it, and I've been doing some research on the internet about the fragancies. The design of the perfum bottles is exquisite. Lolita Lempicka is a French designer and she has some fragrancies out in the market that are worth checking out:
This is the first "eau de perfume" called Lolita Lempicka.

This one is the first fragrance (remember the previous one is an "eau de perfume") and it's called Awaken Desire.

This one is simply called L and it appeared in 2006.

Fleur Défendue (Forbidden Flower). This is the one I got the sample of and it could be described as a sweet and fruity smell. Really fresh but romantic. Came out this year.

Fleur de Corail - the last fragrance launched by the French designer. It is a sister fragrance to L and it was also launched in 2008.
