I'm so hangover!!! Yesterday I celebrated my birthday because I'll be at work on monday (when my real birthday is). So my love and I went to Graffi with Espen, Lisa, Dori, Christian, Cinthia, Diana and Frode. And ate a delicious grillfest: ribs, beef, chicken wings and chicken breast accompanied with corn, bernaise sauce, mayonnaise, BBQ sauce, pink sauce and mushroom purée. Mmmmmm!
This is what I wore:
I got some really nice gifts from my dear friends!
These lovely high heeled sandals from Nina in a beige color. I got them from Doribeth. I love them!
I got a nice stripped shirt and a necklace from Cinthia. Thank you so much!
Diana gave me the much needed make-up brushes. A lot of them! Cheers!
Luckily enough it didn't rain. It was just a bit grey and cloudy. After the meal at Graffi we went to Doribeth's place, where she had made cheesecake and decorated it as a birthday cake, with lots of strawberries!!! Thank you!!
And following the Hondurian tradition of smashing an egg on the head of the birthday girl, I got smashed an egg too. Luckily for me mine was filled with confetti instead of egg yolk!
Christian and Doribeth opened a special Tequila - limited edition - imported from Mexico for the occasion.
That would explain the headache this morning...
Around 11pm we took the bus to Torgeir. That was probably one of the worst bus rides of my life! The bus was full of "russ" (high school graduates) who were really drunk and loud, and one of them even puked in the bus!!! So disgusting!
When we arrived to Torgeir, we saw the last part of the Eurovision song contest. Azerbaijan, really?? This contest only gets more and more lame as time goes by...
Byt he time it was midnight I had drunk a whole bottle of red wine and four tequilas and soon after we all left to the city to have a drink and maybe grab a burger. But as soon as we arrived to Par-a-Dice I started to feel queezy, so I had to go back home! And yes, now I am hangover and starved. I'm gonna check if there's some pizza leftovers in the fridge. I hate sundays when all the stores are closed! :-(
But last night I had fun ;-) Here's a video of Espen and Torgeir singing. Torgeir's a good singer, we'll see if we convince him to go to X-Factor :-)
Thank you for a wonderful day!!
