Happy National Day, Norway!!
Today we celebrate the anniversary of the Norwegian constitution obtained in 1814. This is a national holiday and to me it means I get double paid at work. Since I don't have a bunad I did buy this bow on my jacket to wear during the day.
We decorated the lobby with bouquets of flowers and Norwegian flags, very cozy and nationalistic :-)
After work, Dori called me and asked if I wanted to eat dinner at Christian's parents. I am home alone so I said yes and took the bus there. Obviously as I left work it started to storm and I got soaking wet. My clothes, my hair, my shoes... everything!
Christian's parents have a nice house in one of Trondheim's prettiest neighbourhoods and they decorated everything with flags and other Norwegian items.

Christian's mom, who is also called Eva, made a lot of food: chicken salad, pasta salad, camembert cheese, homemade focaccia bread, fruits, everything delicious. We had coffee and cake for dessert. Overall a really nice day!
