My tooth hurts!

I refuse to believe I will have to go to the dentist but my fucking tooth hurts so much! It is horrible! It started tonight all of a sudden! Last summer I had pain in my other tooth and it went over in a week or so. It was because of my wisdom tooth. But this? I already got that wisdom tooth long ago! 
And the hotel's Christmas party is on friday! I don't want to have to deal with this issue that night... I hope this pain will be over soon! I've drunk some spirit to see if I make the tooth numb... doesn't work! Aaaaaaaaarghhhh!!!!
